The Colonial Presents The Piano Men: Starring Jim Witter

- October 06, 2008

Pittsfield – The Colonial Theatre will present The Piano Men: Starring Jim Witter on October 18th at 8PM. Tickets for the performance range from $25-$45 and can be purchased in person at The Colonial Theatre Ticket Office at 111 South Street Monday-Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-2, by calling (413) 997-4444 or 24/7 online at www.TheColonialTheatre.org The performance is sponsored by Haddad Motor Group.

Dove Award nominee and Canadian Juno Award nominee Jim Witter and his full band lead an expertly crafted musical journey through an entire decade, saluting two of the century’s most popular contemporary songwriters—Billy Joel and Elton John. Visuals of newspaper headlines, automobiles, events, toys and TV shows that shaped the ’70s are incorporated into the performance.

Along the way, the sounds of “My Life,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Rocket Man,” “Just the Way You Are” and many more classic hits create an outstanding evening of entertainment. Witter’s unique approach and comfortable rapport along with a rich, powerful voice and ease of manner at the piano make him a favorite with concert goers.
