Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

The Pittsfield Prevention Partnership (PPP) will sponsor a community forum for parents to explore ways to talk with kids about drugs and alcohol. Dr. Jennifer Michaels of the Brien Center will be the keynote speaker and will also be available for open discussion and questions. The PPP will provide pizza and beverages so that parents may bring their families.
The first 100 families to arrive will receive a $10 Big Y gift card. The event will also feature a performance of the Barrington Stage Company’s Playwright Mentoring Project.
