PITTSFIELD, Mass — Berkshire County youth are invited to the "All About YOUth Career Night" from 7:30 -9:00 pm. Tuesday, November 18th at the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center, located at 165 East Street, in Pittsfield. This free event invites participants to consider what careers might suit them, and how they can achieve their goals.
The event is sponsored by the 2008 class of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce's Berkshire Leadership Program. Each BLP class is asked to complete a project that contributes in some way to the economic development of Berkshire County. This year's class is hosting three career nights in different locations throughout the county.
This event is the second of three. Participants will hear about the various paths that BLP members and other local professionals have taken to get where they are in their careers. Through interactive games, activities and a panel presentation, attendees will be able to spend time considering multiple ways they can identify and achieve their own career goals.
This event is open to Berkshire youth ages 14 to 19. Snacks will be provided. Advance registration is encouraged, as space is limited. The final "All About YOUth Career Night" will be held in collaboration with the Railroad Street Youth Project on December 12th.
