PITTSFIELD, Mass – Effective December 1, 2008, the City Clerk’s Office will be issuing only complete certified copies of all birth, death, and marriage records held in the City.
Abstract versions of certificates, commonly known as “short forms” are now being rejected in many instances because they do not contain complete record information. The cost for a complete certified record will remain at $10.
