Pittsfield, Mass. — Chapters Bookstore welcomes Pittsfield's own Police Captain-in-charge Michael Wynn to the event room on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m.
Wynn will discuss and sign his book "Rising Through the Ranks."
Featuring real stories of leadership and courage from police departments and other investigative agencies, "Rising Through the Ranks" was written to prepare effective leaders from the ranks of local cops to federal agents.
Wynn also was a Drug Enforcement Administration Leadership Fellow.
In "Rising Through the Ranks," he shares his learning as a leader in the line of fire. With examples from his career and other real-life case studies, Wynn demonstrates leadership in action. Wynn also teaches leadership at Roger Williams University and Babson College. He hosts seminars on law enforcement at agencies, colleges, and universities throughout North America.
