BCC to Offer Free EPM Mini-Workshop10:47AM / Monday, January 05, 2009
Berkshire Community College’s Center for Business & Industry, in association with the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and the Berkshire County Regional Employment Board, will host a free mini-workshop, “An Introduction to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)” at the Intermodal Education Center on the corner of North Street and Columbus Avenue, Friday, Jan. 23, from 12-1.
The purpose of the workshop is to acquaint small and medium companies in the region with EPM, a unifying management approach that will drive their success to the next level. Usually, only larger businesses have access to performance management systems and practitioners.
The goal of BCC’s Center for Business & Industry is to bring EPM knowledge and collaboration to small and medium size enterprises through free-of-cost ‘Performance Roadshows’, affordable workshops, and other resources available at the New England Performance Excellence Initiative website www.NewEnglandPerformanceExcellence.com
Charles Collins, the moving force behind initiative and principal of Objective Solutions, LLC, a Boston-area performance management company, will deliver the one-hour presentation. A light lunch will be provided.
