Zonta Club Of Berkshire County Holiday Plant Sale Nears $10,00008:35AM / Wednesday, January 07, 2009
Members of the Zonta Club of Berkshire County sold and delivered 395 poinsettias and cyclamen during their 2008 Holiday Plant Sale to Berkshire businesses and individuals, grossing $9,685 in sales. "We are very appreciative of our returning and new customers this year for choosing to support Zonta with their holiday gifts and decorations," said Zonta member and Plant Sale chairman Mary O'Brien. The sale netted $3,300 to the Zonta Club of Berkshire County service fund, which supports local scholarships for area women and girls, as well as Zonta International programs that advance the status of women worldwide.
