David Foster's innumerable contributions to the music industry through writing, producing, arranging, and performing have proven him well deserving of his title, "Hit Man." He has already made a difference in the music world, and continues to keep his foot in the door of its future.
This is a special package that contains a nine-track album of live recordings and a DVD from his breath-taking, one-night-only performance in Las Vegas last spring. The DVD contains 16 additional performances from that evening that are not included on the album. The DVD makes it possible to stay at home and have the best seats in the house for an incredible performance.
Every artist gives a sincere performance and Foster is at his best throughout the show. Even the 30-second introductions for each piece are well performed, with small humorous interjections, and common thank-you's from the artists Foster has collaborated with over his career.
Andrea Bocelli and Katharine McPhee's remarkable performance of "The Prayer" is included on both the CD and DVD. While listening to this track or watching this piece, you cannot help but smile and shiver because of the sheer power and authenticity in each of their voices.
