PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of a new series of lunchtime workshops designed to help area business owners. Each session will be held at the Berkshire Chamber office located at 75 North Street, Suite 360 in Pittsfield from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and attendees are invited to bring along a brown bagged lunch.
The Brown Bag Series workshops have been developed to help business owners and managers through these tough economic conditions. The Berkshire Chamber has enlisted the help of experts in our region to provide 60-minute sessions on topics including motivating employees, customer service, financial strategies, marketing and stress management.
The series line-up kicks off on Wednesday, February 18th with Hugs Won't Cut It: Motivating Employees During Tough Times presented by Diana Brooks of Diana Brooks Consulting. Subsequent sessions include Storm-Buffer Your Business: 10 Financial Tips with Keith Girouard of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network on Wednesday, February 25th; Branding Your Business: Be Brave or Be Gone with Nate Winstanley of Winstanley Associates on Wednesday, March 4th; Recession-proof Stress Management with Richard Fabozzi of Richard Fabozzi Presents on Wednesday, March 11th; and Get Beyond "Hello" Delivering Exceptional Customer Service with Steven Valenti of Steven Valenti Clothing for Men on Wednesday, March 18th.
"When the Chamber first considered a series of workshops, we knew we needed area experts who were not only enthusiastic but highly creative,” said Michael Supranowicz, Berkshire Chamber President & CEO. “Businesses need extra support during these very difficult economic times. By attending these short, but very valuable sessions, business owners will take away new ideas and practices for maximizing results that they can begin implementing immediately.”
