Aimed at mixed abilities from complete novice to more experienced writers, this playwrighting workshop will explore the art of writing a one-act play, the goal being for each class participant to complete a one act play of their own by the end of the workshop. We will also be reading a few selected texts aloud in class by more established playwrights who have excelled at the form, hopefully to inspire and instruct. Students must be willing to “act” (read aloud) in other people’s plays.

Tuition: $200
