BCC Foundation to hold “Excellent Eighties Evening”04:36PM / Tuesday, February 17, 2009
Berkshire Community College will hold an “Excellent Eighties Evening” on Monday, March 16, to benefit the BCC Foundation Annual Fund.
The evening begins with a dinner party from 5 to 7 at the Masonic Hall, 116 South Street, where a buffet will be provided by Mazzeo’s Ristorante with beverages provided by Girardi Distributors. Attendees can enjoy tunes from the 80s during the dinner. The party also features an auction with spa experiences, restaurant gift certificates, golf outings, artwork, camperships, and jewelry, all going to the highest bidder.
At 7:30, the highly acclaimed 10th Anniversary Tour of the Off-Broadway musical “Footloose” will be performed at the Colonial Theatre. After the show, the cast will be available at a dessert reception with autographed souvenirs and champagne.
Various ticket levels include $125 per person for the dinner party, show and dessert reception; $75 per person for the dinner party and show; $50 per person for the show only; and $35 per person for the dinner party only. Theatre tickets will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All proceeds from the event and auction support the Berkshire Community College Foundation Annual Fund, immediately impacting students’ success in the form of technology upgrades and state-of-the-art classrooms, emergency financial aid, academic program initiatives and enhancements, faculty support, and other immediate college needs.
The event is sponsored by Girardi Distributors, Mazzeo’s Ristorante and Catering, the Masonic Hall, the Colonial Theatre, and Gargan Communication. To reserve tickets, call Jennifer Kerwood at 413-236-2188 or visit www.berkshirecc.edu for more information. |
