Mammography Dispute
The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

Images Cinema Oscar Party

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Images Cinema will host an Oscar Party in their recently renovated space on Sunday, February 22, starting at 7:30pm. The Oscar Red Carpet and ceremony live broadcast will show on the big screen, as well as next door on televisions at the Red Herring. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

The event will be emceed by Eric Kerns. Admission is free. Ballots for the "Pick-the-Winner" contest are $10 or 3 for $25, and ballots must be submitted to Images Cinema by 8pm that evening. Gift baskets will be awarded to the first and second place winners. The gift baskets will be filled with goodies donated by local businesses, including Lickety Split; Spice Root, The Cottage; Day & Beth Healing Arts; Gramercy Bistro; The Browns; the Williamstown Film Festival; Tasha Yoga; Zanna; Buxton Hill Guest House; and Hardware, the MASS MoCA store.
