The BOX - music by living composers: French Duo

March 17 | 8:00 PM | CenterStage | $3

The BOX – music by living composers features the piano-percussion duo Ancuza Aprodu and Thierry Miroglio, a unique association of two internationally known soloists. Their work reflects an artistic blending of the melodic piano with the timbral percussion. This collaboration has evolved over several years in collaboration with living composers, producing a large body of work encompassing all the arts. The performance includes pieces by composers Kazuko Narita, Daniel Teruggi, Eric Chasalow, and Chengbi An. Illinois Wesleyan University professor David Vayo and Williams College Music Department’s own Ileana Perez Velazquez premiere new pieces for the duo.
