Stroke support group meets April 9 at Northern Berkshire VNA12:56PM / Monday, March 30, 2009
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Northern Berkshire Healthcare’s Stroke Support Group will meet Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire’s Community Room from noon to 2 p.m. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
The group is open to those who are recovering from a stroke, family members, and caregivers of stroke patients.
The April 9 meeting will focus on physical therapy and rehabilitation after a stroke and will feature a staff member of the NARH Rehabilitation Department. Survivors, caregivers and family members will be able to network and also talk about issues they feel are the most important to them. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
