Berkshire Serve is revving up for the grilling season offering affordable food for one and all. As a chapter of the Serve New England co-op, buying food in bulk, Serve is able to offer restaurant quality food at below retail prices.
Orders are being taken until 14 for pick-up on May 30. Payment is accepted in check, cash or food stamps at the local office or by credit card at www.servenewengland.org.
The May $26 package includes hamburger patties, hot dogs, chicken kabobs, sweet sausage, potatoes, onions, carrots, turnips, apples, bananas, peaches, oranges, and Cole slaw. Also offered is a grille package for $19, which includes sirloin steaks, hamburger patties, sausage, sirloin tip kabob meat, and boneless chicken breast. For $18 there is a calamari ring package. The last offering is six 10oz sirloin steaks for $23.
