GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation will hold two sessions on Monday, May 11, to discuss how it invests and manages its funds to support the charitable vision of its donors.
The meetings will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Seven Hills Inn at 40 Plunkett St. in Lenox and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Wake Robin Inn at 106 Sharon Road in Lakeville, Conn.
Jill Gellert, vice president for finance and administration of Berkshire Taconic, and Tom Lupone of Prime, Buchholz & Associates Inc., a nationally recognized leader in independent advisory services to nonprofit institutions that serves as Berkshire Taconic's investment consultant, will discuss the market in general and review Berkshire Taconic's investment strategies and policies, historical portfolio performance, diversification and risk management, and performance relative to peer groups.
"Berkshire Taconic is committed to providing as much transparency and information as possible. In this challenging investment market, it's more important than ever to communicate with our constituents about what is happening with our investments," said Gellert.
