Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Twenty-one graduates of the Practical Nurse certificate program at Berkshire Community College were recognized June 18 during a pinning ceremony in the Robert Boland Theatre of the college’s Koussevitzky Arts Center.
Ann Tierney, program chairperson, presented the Academic Excellence award to Akiko Fry and the Clinical Excellence Award to co-recipients Zsa Zsa Taylor and Jessica Walden. Two awards presented last month at BCC’s annual awards ceremony were also acknowledged: Michael Reynolds was the recipient of the Hillcrest Commons/LPN Club Scholarship award, and Nedia Minto-Suslova was the recipient of the Alumni and Friends award.
Euphemia Matondo, class vice president, spoke during the ceremony and nursing adjunct faculty member Elizabeth Fiscella delivered remarks on behalf of the faculty.
Mary Agoglia, Mary Jane Pignatelli, Leslie Drager, Beth Fiscella, Sally Soluri, and Joan lennon presented pins and certificates to the graduates including:

Graduates of the 10-month program are eligible to sit for the Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) exam within 10 days of graduation.
