PITTSFIELD, Mass. - The Colonial will present Gary Puckett on Friday, July 24th at 8PM. Tickets for the performance are $65 (preferred seating with post-show Artist meet & greet), $45 and $25 and can be purchased in person at the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM, performance Saturdays 10AM-2PM, by calling (413) 997-4444 or online at www.TheColonialTheatre.org.
Gary Puckett’s unforgettable voice and songs defined a generation. Hits like “Young Girl,” “Woman, Woman,” “Lady Willpower,” “Over You,” “Don’t Give In To Him” and “This Girl Is A Woman Now,” have resulted in six consecutive gold records and made Puckett a concert, television and Las Vegas favorite.
Gary Puckett and the Union Gap was one of the most successful musical groups of the sixties. Gary's unmistakable signature voice garnered eight Top-10 Billboard hits. Gary Puckett has performed on more than thirty network television shows and prime time specials during his career, even adding a command performance for the President and Prince Charles at the White House. The Union Gap disbanded in the seventies. In 1974, "Young Girl" was reissued in England where it received a silver record award for attaining a top five position on the pop charts, several years after its initial release. |
