Williamstown Congregational Plans Picnics, Talk on Being 'Earthwise'

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 906 Main St., has posted its schedule for the week of July 26.
Sunday, July 26, 8th Sunday after Pentecost
Service of worship at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Carrie Bail will deliver a sermon titled "Let 'Em Eat!" based on Scriptures 2 Kings 4:42-44 and John 6: 1-21.
Nursery and toddler care is provided but there is no church school during the summer months.
Wednesday: The deacons will be holding potluck picnics and discussions on environmental issues at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays in July at Sheep Hill (Rural Lands Foundation) on Route 7. All are welcome. On July 29, Emily DeMoor leads a discussion on "Shall We Become an Earthwise Congregation."
Wednesday, July 29-Saturday, Aug. 1: Starlight Stage Youth Theatre presents "Dark of the Moon" in the Fellowship Hall at 8 p.m. Tickets are $7 adults, $5 children, at the door.
