PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Legacy Banks will host a free Mortgage Pre-Qualification Program at its Lenox Office for those interested in learning what type of home they can afford to purchase. The session will be held from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Legacy Banks Lenox Office, 25 Main Street, Lenox.
Attendees should bring a current pay stub and most recent tax return. Self-employed individuals should bring two years of tax returns. Mortgage officers will be on hand to meet one-on-one with individuals or families to determine the amount of a mortgage for which they will be pre-qualified, barring any changes in their financial status.
According to Jackie McNinch, vice president of consumer lending, “This is the perfect time for consumers to think about purchasing a home, especially first-time home buyers who may be able to take advantage of some special offerings including a new federal tax incentive and a MassHousing loan program.”
Anyone interested in attending the prequalification program, should call 413-445-3507 for an appointment, although walk-ins will be accommodated. Legacy Banks has been a MassHousing Lender since 1992 and is an Equal Housing Lender.
