Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

ADAMS, Mass. - The Board of Directors of the Susan B Anthony Birthplace has announced that the opening of the Museum is postponed until early 2010.
"Next year is the 90th Anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, and Susan B Anthony's 190th birthday." said Carol Crossed, President of the Board."The opening of the Museum will be in conjunction with other national events to celebrate women's suffrage."
Restoration of the Birthplace and the Visitor Center has been delayed. Historic accuracy has slowed the process, but in the end, according to Lorraine Robinson, it will be worth it to the community. "You have to do this right.
The Town of Adams has waited more than 25 years to properly honor one of our nation's most famous women. What's another 6 months?" Robinson, a member of the Board of Directors, was the 2004-6 Chair of the Adams Exploratory Committee to determine how to preserve the East Road dwelling.
