Hillcrest Educational Centers’ 8th Annual Fall Golf Classic10:46AM / Monday, September 14, 2009
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Hillcrest Educational Centers announced its 8th Annual Fall Golf Classic will be on Friday, September 25, 2009 at two locations in Berkshire County. Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown and Donnybrook Country Club in Lanesborough will each host the 200 player event. Proceeds benefit Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc.
Hillcrest President Gerard Burke said, “We are encouraged to see the generous response Hillcrest has received with our annual fundraiser, and have added a second course to accommodate the ever-increasing number of participants.”
The classic will have a shotgun start at 11:30. Gross and Net team prizes will be awarded to teams at both courses. The cost is $130 per person and includes golf cart, green fees, cookout luncheon, premium player gift and steak dinner. The Inaugural Keith DuPont Hole-In-One Contest will be held along with a silent scramble and live auction. Auction items include: Tom Brady autographed football; Boston Celtic’s basketball autographed by the entire 2009-2010 team; golf outings; theater and dinner packages; and many other unique items.
Presenting sponsors for the fall golf classic are TD Banknorth and Salco Construction Company, Inc. General Contractors, both in Pittsfield. Additional lead sponsors include: Health New England; USI Insurance Services; Pignatelli Electric; and Climate Heating and Cooling, Inc.
Hillcrest Educational Centers is a private not for profit organization providing treatment and special education services to children and adolescents with unique psychological and learning needs. Hillcrest operates the Housatonic Academy, Berkshire County's only therapeutic day school located in Pittsfield, as well as three residential treatment centers located in Lenox and Great Barrington. In addition, Hillcrest operates Hillcrest Dental Care, the largest provider of oral healthcare services to MassHealth recipient’s special needs patients.
