NAACO Gallery presents "Out of the Box"01:23PM / Thursday, September 17, 2009
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Out of the Box is a month-long exhibition of NAACO gallery members. Members may show work that uses media that differs from that found in their primary body of work, explore new forms of expression, or investigate the path of a different creative process.
For those who've visited the gallery before, "Out of the Box" will provide a fresh "twist" on artists whose work you might be familiar with. If you haven't visited the gallery yet, this is the time to do so, since this this is the final Thursday DownStreet Art event!
"Out of the Box" will be held at the North Adams Artists’ Co-Operative Gallery (NAACO) located at 33 Main Street (corner of Main and Marshall Streets / Route 8) and runs from September 23 through October 18, with an opening reception on Thursday, September 24, 2009, 6-9 PM, held concurrently with all other “DownStreet Art Thursday” exhibition openings and performances.
The NAACO Gallery is an independent, member-run organization of 35 active, regional artists exhibiting works in the fields of fine and applied arts. Now entering our fourth successful month, we are excited to have welcomed thousands of visitors since our opening in late June. NAACO is a part of "DownStreet Art", a public art project of MCLA's Berkshire Cultural Resource Center which features 27 galleries, museums, and other arts destinations in the city.
The NAACO gallery is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For further information, please visit www.NAACOGallery.com or call the gallery at 413-664-4003 during regular business hours. |
