Norman Rockwell Museum To Offer Preschool Art Programs
STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. - - Starting this month Norman Rockwell Museum will present Toddler Tuesdays, a multi-sensory learning experience designed for preschool children and their adult friends.Norman Rockwell's illustrations explore many different themes, which serve to both entertain and educate young audiences; each session of Toddler Tuesdays will feature an age-appropriate gallery tour and fun hands-on art project, offering children the chance to experience visual art, vocabulary, storytelling, and art-making in a stimulating environment.
Programs will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 20; November 3, 17; December 1 and 15, starting at 10:30 a.m. Cost for the program is $2 per child, adults free with regular Museum admission. No advance registration is required. For more information, please call 1.413.298.4100, ext. 252.
Admission Details
Norman Rockwell Museum is open daily. General public admission is $15 for adults, $13.50 for seniors, $10 for college students, and free for visitors 18 and under (five per adult). Kids Free Every Day is a gift to families from Country Curtains, Blantyre, and The Red Lion Inn. From May through October, the Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orientation talks are available daily, beginning on the hour. Antenna Audio Tour of select paintings from the Museum's permanent Norman Rockwell collection is available.
