HANOVER, NH - The Ephs traveled to the Boss Tennis Center at Dartmouth College to compete in the Dartmouth Invitational. The Dartmouth Invitational attracts some of the top talent from Divisions I and III in New England. Williams battled in all of their matches and came away with three wins.
Playing in Flight A, Senior Co-Captain Nick Lebedoff fell to Buffalo's Kiril Kolomyts 6-3, 7-6 (3-0). Lebedoff battled to the end but lost in a tight tiebreak.
In Flight B, Bryan Chow was able to overcome an early deficit to win in three sets 4-6, 7-6 (4-0), 10-6.
Dylan Page, playing in his first tournament of the year, performed admirably. Page played a marathon match but outlasted Boston University's Alex Hallenbeck 6-2, 6-7 (0-4), 13-11.
Senior Ben Davidson capped off a strong day for the Ephs by cruising past Alex Kaufman of arch rival Amherst 6-4, 6-2. |
