The opening reception will be held at the NAACO gallery01:16PM / Monday, October 26, 2009
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Tracks is a month-long exhibition of NAACO gallery members, which focuses on journeys and how one marks that progression / transition. Interpretations of the theme are as diverse as our artist-members, ranging from sequential images, to surface mark-making and literal interpretations of the theme.
"Tracks" will be held at the North Adams Artists’ Co-Operative Gallery (NAACO) located at 33 Main Street (corner of Main and Marshall Streets / Route 8) and runs from Wednesday, October 28th, through Sunday, November 22nd.
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, 5-7 PM, held concurrently with the opening of "Nest" at MCLA's Gallery 51, located just up the block at 51 Main Street. Please come by and enjoy an evening of art downtown!
The NAACO Gallery is an independent, member-run organization of 35 active, regional artists exhibiting works in the fields of fine and applied arts. Having enjoyed a successful summer season, we plan to remain open throughout the year. As things quiet down in the fall and winter, we look forward to welcoming our neighbors throughout the area. Our next show will be "Ornament", and will include not only artisan ornaments, but also fine art looking at the concept of the decorative and ornamental.
The NAACO gallery is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 AM to 6 PM and on Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM. For further information, please visit www.NAACOGallery.com or call the gallery at 413-664-4003 during regular business hours. |
