Mike Catrambone is an endearing spirit that should be remembered forever in this city and region. I have never been so excited about watching trees grow. Mike is a very important person in my own history. And if Mike is your friend, he will never, ever forget you.
Steeplecats' Comeback Bid Falls Short in Connecticut

BRISTOL, Conn. -- The Blues held off a ninth-inning comeback bid by the North Adams SteepleCats Tuesday to earn a 4-3 win in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
Nelphi Lopez singled with two out in the ninth to drive in Alex Barrist and put Matthew Colella on second with the potential tying run.
But Bristol pitcher Thomas Galusha got a fly ball to right field to end the game.
Lopez went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and Colella was 2-for-5 with a double for North Adams.
SteepleCats starter Niklas Pavia gave up two runs in five innings of work on the mound.
North Adams (9-29) is scheduled to go to Sanford, Maine, on Wednesday for a double-header.
