Mia Fabrizio
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mia Fabrizio has been named the new women’s tennis coach at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Fabrizio will replace former coach Holly Brouker. Fabrizio most recently was the girls coach at Monument Mountain Regional High School from 2007-2010.

Fabrizio was a standout junior college performer at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, posting an unblemished 20-0 career mark. She competed in both singles and doubles action, finishing as the national runner up in the 2005 Division III NJCAA singles tournament. She was also the recipient of the F.I.T. Excellence in Education and Sports Award in both 2005 and 2006.

"I am extremely excited to announce the hiring of Mia Fabrizio as the new women's tennis coach at MCLA. Mia possesses a tremendous teaching and playing background and will be a great asset to the program," MCLA Athletics Director Scott Nichols said.

Fabrizio will begin her inaugural season with the Trailblazers in September. MCLA opens play at home on September 10th against Castleton State College at the Zavattaro athletics complex.
