ADAMS, Mass. — BArT's next enrollment deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 15, at noon for students interested in Grades 6 through 9 for the 2012-2013 school year. Opportunities to shadow current students are available; the next scheduled shadow day is Tuesday, Feb. 7.
Students interested in transferring to Berkshire Arts & Technology Public Charter School for the rest of this school year may apply by the same deadline; no transfers will be allowed after Feb. 15. A dozen seats are available in Grade 7, nine seats are available in Grade 8 and six in Grade 9 for the 2011-2012 school year.
Students interested in sixth grade for this school year are encouraged to apply; they will be added to the current waitlist for seats in that grade. (No students will be accepted into Grades 10, 11 or 12.)
Transportation is available for students in Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, Hancock, Lanesborough, North Adams, Pittsfield, Savoy and Williamstown.
