NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Joint Replacement Center at North Adams Regional Hospital will offer a question-and-answer session with orthopedic surgeons Drs. James Whittum, Suk Namkoong, and Jonathan Cluett on Tuesday, March 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The free event takes place at the Orchards Hotel in Williamstown. Refreshments will be served. Registration is requested by calling 413-664-5142 or emailing phopkins@nbhealth.org.
Whittum, Namkoong and Cluett, surgeons at Orthopedic Associates of Northern Berkshire, will take questions on joint replacement procedures including hips, knees and shoulders. Also attending will be staff from the Joint Replacement Center at NARH.
Whittum earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, and served his internship and residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He serves as chairman of the Department of Surgery at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Namkoong graduated from Princeton University and earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases.
Cluett earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York City. He completed his residency training at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Cluett also completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Santa Monica Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in California.
