NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Drury Drama Team has selected the musical, "The Wizard of Oz," to open its 25th season with more than 75 area students ranging from pre-school age to grade 12 involved in the production.

Director and Producer Dr. Len Radin said this is the largest musical ever produced at the high school featuring its international award-winning drama team. Dr. Radin chose "The Wizard of Oz" for the drama team's 25th season spectacular because it gives the team the opportunity to cast a large number of city students spanning many ages. Additionally, Radin said he gets more requests to do "Oz" than any other production. Performances will also consist of the Jitterbug dance scene that is often cut from other drama troops when presenting the "Wizard of Oz."
