WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Hopkins Forest will be closed during the Massachusetts deer hunting season from Nov. 26 through Dec. 8.
Everyone is welcome to resume using the forest for hiking, jogging and cross-country skiing following the 12-day hunting period.
During deer hunting season, if you are walking or jogging on any back roads or trails it is always advisable to wear brightly colored clothes as there could be hunters nearby.
Hopkins Forest is located at the intersection of Northwest Hill Road and Bulkley Street.
