Morningside School Pupils to Display Work at Spice Dragon

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — IS183, Art School of the Berkshires, announced that the Program Ending Art Exhibit and Completion Ceremony for Morningside Community School's fall semester of Learning Through Arts will be held at Spice Dragon on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m.
Seventy-three kindergarten to fifth grade pupils created a showcase of 2D and 3D artwork related to their studies in the LTA program, an after-school curriculum-based integrative learning program, at Morningside.
Displays:
- Kindergarten: Paper-mache puppets
- First grade: Pyramids
- Second grade: Nature journals
- Third grade: Story books
- Fourth, Fifth grades: Sculptural tollbooths exploring visual representation of the classic young reader novel, "The Phantom Tollbooth"
The public is invited to join the school at the Spice Dragon's upstairs ballroom, located at the second floor of 297 North St.
