North Adams Schools to Show Bullying, Internet Safety Presentation
NORTH Adams, Mass. — North Adams Public Schools will host its Bullying Prevention and Internet Safety Presentation for parents and community members on Thursday, Jan. 17 at Brayton Elementary School.
Students from all schools and grade levels will exhibit classroom work connected to bullying prevention in the foyer beginning at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., an auditorium program will feature a presentation by Meghan McCoy from the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center at Bridgewater State University.
Students will contribute to the program with dramatic, video and musical performances. Special guest, Terry A La Berry will accompany the musical performance.
Free childcare for children ages 3 and older is available by registering with Liz Urban at the LINCS Parent Center at 413-664-7512. Parents may arrange for free transportation by contacting Anne French by Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 413-662-3240, ext. 1204.
