The NAMA Snow Ball is a night of wild, dress-up fun, flirting, laughing, shenanigans, and dancing till you can't dance no more! Constructed for the beginner who has always been curious about yoga, while also great for current yogis wanting to brush up on basic yoga skills. The sessions will be slow, and common yoga poses will be broken down and fully explained. "Before that painting was something I did; after that it as something I was" states the artist. One the most enjoyable aspect of being an artist, Mulherrin reflects, "Most people have no such record of the evolution of their own psyche. They might have love letters and old photographs. Artists have their work, something tangible, an object they can look at outside of their own head, evidence of their own history and the places their spirit has traveled." |

Slam I Am seeks young leaders and poets Click here for more information. Slam I Am is a teen event. This is for anyone under 21 to come out and listen, celebrate, read, perform, compete, slam, and generally revel in the world of spoken word poetry. In order to maintain the integrity and success of this event, Slam I Am is taking a brief break from the monthly slams. It will resume in April,which is National Poetry Month! In order to re-start in April, Slam I Am needs young leaders to organize the following areas: publicity, management, and event coordination and team members to help out. |

WinterFest Ice Sculpting The Office of Tourism & Community Events is looking for North Adamsbusinesses to sponsor blocks of ice to be sculpted on Main Street during our annual WinterFest on February 23rd. The cost of a block of ice is $75. Businesses are invited to sponsor a block of ice, but anyone who is interested can sculpt. If you would be interested in sculpting but aren't able to pay the $75 fee, we may be able to place you with a business in need of an ice sculptor.
