Horizons for Homeless Children Seeking Volunteers

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Horizons for Homeless Children, a state organization that addresses the needs of homeless children, is seeking volunteers to play with the children who live in family homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters throughout Western Mass.

A commitment of two hours per week is required for at least six months, or one semester if you are a student. Day and evening hours are available. Trainings are held regularly and listed on the organization's website, www.horizonsforhomelesschildren.org.
 
The next training session is scheduled for March 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Berkshire Community College. For more information, email aditmer@horizonsforhomelesschildren.org or call 413-532-0467.
