Public Safety Secretary Meeting With Lawmakers, Law Enforcement

Public Safety Secretary Andrea Cabral

LENOX, Mass. — The state's new Secretary of Public Safety Andrea Cabral will meet with local officials and public safety representatives during her first visit to Berkshire County.

State Rep. William "Smitty" Pignatelli, D-Lenox, will be hosting a roundtable discussion with Cabral on Friday, March 15, at 10 at Lenox Town Hall to discuss public safety issues. Other members of the Berkshire delegation have been invited to attend.
 
Cabral was named as secretary this past December after 10 years tenure as sheriff of Suffolk County. This will be her first official visit to the Berkshires.
