Central Radio owner Bob Cramer presents Dean Bullett with his winnings on Tuesday.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — When the Indianapolis Colts take on the New England Patriots on Saturday night, Dean Bullett will have the best seat in the house.

On Tuesday, Bullett picked out his new ultra-plush recliner and 40-inch, high-definition television from Central Radio on Hubbard Avenue after winning the grand prize in the iBerkshires.com football contest, "Beat the Pro."

The North Adams resident picked the most winners throughout the football season racking up a 173-83 record.

"When in doubt, go with the safe bet," Bullett said of his secret to picking the winning teams.

It was close, though. Coming into last week of the season, Bullett held just a one-game lead but stormed to victory by posting the best record of the week at 15-1 — also taking home the weekly prize of a $50 gift certificate to the Mill Town Tavern.

By finishing on top for the season, Bullett got to pick out his winnings, opting to go with a Jackson Furniture Catnapper recliner — a chair with heat and message functions — and Samsung television.

While only the television could fit in his car, Central Radio owner Bob Cramer says they'll make sure the recliner is delivered in plenty of time for the game.

The annual contest challenges readers to pick the winners of the professional football games each week to beat the pro, the mysterious Harry the Handicapper. There are weekly prizes — a $50 gift certificate to various businesses — and then the grand prize. The contest is free to enter. Bullett says he has been entering the contest for the last four years.

Congratulations, Dean.
