Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Welcomes New OB/Gyn

BENNINGTON, Vt. — Southwestern Vermont Medical Center has welcomed Dr. Annika Chadee to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Medical Group.

Dr. Chadee received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Bronx, NY, which is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College.

SVMC OB/Gyn offers women at every stage of life the opportunity to manage their care and understand their options. From education and prevention to diagnostics and treatment, SVMC’s hospital-based OB/Gyn services department includes three experienced, board-certified physicians. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and is the state’s first Magnet Center for Nursing Excellence, a designation it has held since 2002.

SVMC OB/Gyn’s board-certified physicians are a part of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system and have access to more than 1,200 primary and specialty care physicians and state-of-the-art-technology and services.
