New Lebanon Boys, Girls Swim Teams Open with Wins

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Jeffrey Miller won the 100-yard and 200--yard freestyle to lead the New Lebanon/Berlin boys swim team to a 35-24 win over Hudson on Thursday.
 
Miller won the 200 in 2 minutes, 17.68 seconds and the 100 in 1:00.79.
 
He also swam legs on New Lebanon's winning 200 and 400 free relay quartets.
 
New Lebanon's girls won their dual meet, 44-29, behind a pair of wins from Alex Sotek.
 
Sotek won the 200 individual medley in 2:28.93 and the 100 butterfly in 1:10.02.

Exploring North Adams' History At the Library

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. On Saturday, April 27, at 11:30 AM, the North Adams Public Library will host an event focusing on the history of North Adams.
 
Led by local historian Gene Carlson and in collaboration with the North Adams Historical Society, attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the city's past.
 
The event will take place in the 3rd Floor Community Room of the North Adams Public Library. Coffee and snacks will be provided. No registration is required, and all ages are welcome to attend.
