Algae Blooms Close Down Ponds in Easthampton

The Board of Health has announced that recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, and kayaking will be banned in Easthampton’s Nashawannuck and Lower Mill ponds because of algae blooms. The algae are believed to be dangerous, and the ponds will be closed until they can confirm.
