First Human Case of West Nile Virus in Mass. in 2020
The first human case of West Nile virus has been confirmed in Massachusetts possibly from southwestern Essex County or eastern Middlesex County. This finding comes right after the first human case of EEE was discovered and reminds us to be vigilant about mosquito bites. Bug repellent and long-sleeved clothing are recommended.
