Dalton CRA, Fall Swimming Lessons Session 1 Registration
Dates: • 08/23 through 09/02 at 8:00 am until 8:00 pm

The Dalton Community Recreation is registration for Session 1 Swimming Lessons. Lessons run from September 3 – October 26, 2019 (8 weeks). A General CRA Jr. Membership ($40) is required and everyone must wear a swim cap.

The Dalton CRA offers a full range of swimming lessons including: Parent-Toddler (6 months to 3 years, parent needs to be in the pool with toddler); Pre-School (3-5 years, not in Kindergarten); Beginners (5 years and up); Beginners Deep End (5 years and up - no bubble); Advanced Beginner, Intermediate Swimmer and Advanced Swimmer. Cost for lessons is $52 (plus Membership) for 8-week session, $45.50 (plus Membership) for Monday classes (7-week session). Parent-Toddler classes on Friday and Saturday are $28 (plus Membership).

Berkshire County Football Officials Association, Prospective Officials Course

The Berkshire County Football Officials Association will hold a class for prospective officials starting Wednesday, Aug .28.

The class will be held at Taconic High School starting at 7 p.m. and will be taught by BCFOA President Marc Field.
The class is free, and rule books will be provided free of charge.

Greylock Thunder Travel Softball League, 2019 fall ball program U14, U16, U18
Dates: 08/17/19 12:00 pm-2:00 pm • 08/25/19 9:00 am-11:00 am • 08/24/19 10:00 am-12:00 pm

The Greylock Thunder fall ball program is open to all players from any league that doesn't offer a fall ball program or who are looking for a different softball experience. This is a great opportunity to just play softball to help stay in the game or for preparing yourself for the upcoming 2020 summer travel/tournament Season.
U14 and U16 details: Double-headers played Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29. All games played in New York. Player fee $80  
U14 registration date: Saturday, Aug. 17, from noon to 2 p.m. at Russell Field. Rain date and location: Adams Memorial School (corner of Valley Street and Columbia Street), Sunday, Aug. 18th from 6 to 8 p.m.

U16 registration date: Sunday, Aug. 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Russell Field.

U18 details: Double-headers played Sept. 11 to Oct. 27. Games are Sundays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Nonotuck Park in Easthampton. Player fee $80.
U18 registration date: Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon at Russell Field.

North Adams Soccer Club, Registration for the Fall travel teams
Dates: • 07/30 through 08/31 at 5:00 am until 5:00 am

Registration for the Fall travel teams is now open on the northadamssoccer.org website.  Please sign up and tell your friends.  Practices will begin in a few weeks with the first games starting in September.  

We will be fielding teams in the Berkshire County Youth Soccer League at the following levels:

2*/3/4 Grade Boys and Girls teams  *(2nd graders need to be evaluated)

5/6 Grade Boys and Girls teams

7/8 Grade Boys and Girls teams

Depending on numbers it is possible to have multiple teams in a boys and or girls division.

As always voluteers are needed and welcome.  Different this year is that coaches and volunteers need to register on the website and take mandatory concussion and safe sport certificate classes online besides the normal background checks.

Lanesboro Youth Football, 2019 Fall season
Dates: • 07/15 through 08/31 at 8:00 am until 8:00 pm

Lanesboro Tigers youth football registration is now open for the 2019 Fall season for boys and girls ages 7 through age 13 (as of August 31, 2019). Fees are only $35 per player!  That includes all equipment to play other than cleats!!!  

2019 Season and practices starts August 2019 and lasts thru October 2019.

Practice at Laston Field in Lanesboro
Games begin in September and are every Sunday
Pee Wee's - 11:30 am - 1 pm (7-9 yr. olds)
Juniors - 1-3 pm  (10 & 11 yr. olds)
Seniors - 3-5 pm  (12 & 13 yr. olds)

Players from all surrounding towns are welcome and encouraged to sign-up!!!
