Berkshire Grown's Holiday Farmers Markets are back in their traditional location at the Williams College Towne Field House, 82 Latham St. The winter markets feature fun activities for kids, food for lunch, and live music. Admission is free and SNAP/EBT is accepted at all markets. Berkshire Grown’s indoor farmers markets showcase the array of seasonal bounty of apples, potatoes, carrots, beets, winter squash, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and a variety of greens including kale, Brussels sprouts, and micro greens -- all grown on local farms. Plus there will be the freshest eggs, chicken, lamb, grass fed pork and beef, over a dozen different kinds of locally-produced cheeses, jams, pickles, kimchi, sauerkraut, honey, and delicious baked goods.

The Holiday Shindy will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the newly instated Al Khalil Cultural Center (formerly Shire City Sanctuary) with 40 artisan vendors, featuring holiday shopping with food from local farms and the opportunity to meet and watch local makers weave, sew, and whittle. Admission is $3, free for children under 12.

All Saints Episcopal Church at 59 Summer St. will host its fifth annual Community Christmas Party, a free, fun-filled afternoon of making Christmas crafts, playing games, caroling, eating goodies and seeing Santa.

Family Move-A-Thon Sunday, December 15 from 3:00-4:00 pm at the Williamstown Youth Center, 66 school Street, Williamstown. Drop in and join the fun playing creative games to get everyone in the family moving while having fun and exercising. Open to Northern Berkshire Families with children walking- age 8 years. Please note that children under age 3 will need help during most activities.
