PARSONS DANCE COMPANY TO PERFORM AT THE MAHAIWE

Parsons Dance company will return to the Mahaiwe's mainstage for two performances at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 to $70, with discounts for Mahaiwe Members and individuals ages 30 and under. HOFFMANN BIRD CLUB: ANNUAL DOVEKIE DAY

Participants compete in a lighthearted race to locate a hidden wooden Dovekie placed on a local water body, earning points for the discovery and for various bird sightings along the way. The event is designed for all mobility levels, accessible by both foot and car, and concludes with a celebratory gathering at noon. State Poet Laureate Regie Gibson, backed by a group musicians, presents a reimagined history of the founding of the Commonwealth told through the eyes of its marginalized people who influenced its growth and early struggles. General admission is $20 at the door, cash only, at the Stockbridge First Congregational Church, located at 4 Main St.

Williamstown, 7:30am - 10:30am
Participants will visit three to four birding hotspots in Williamstown to observe arriving spring migrants via easy to moderate walks on grass, gravel, or roadsides. The group will meet at the Williamstown Public Library at the intersection of Routes 2 and 7 before departing for the local sites. Rita Parisi presents "Women of '76". In a costumed performance, Parisi will introduce the audience to five brave women who had a role to play in the American Revolution.
The program is sponsored by a grant from the Pittsfield Cultural Council which is supported by the MA Cultural Council. The event is FREE at the Berkshire Athenaeum

Designed for those new to the world of birds, this workshop covers essential identification tools and strategies before heading out for a guided 1.7-mile loop on the Greylock Glen gravel paths. Participants should bring sturdy shoes and water, though loaner binoculars are available for those who need them. Space is strictly limited to five participants and requires an advance RSVP via the Hoffmann Bird Club website.
