Joseph F. Wojeick, 95

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Joseph F. Wojeick, 95, formerly of Adams died Sunday morning, November 25, 2018, at Craneville Place in Dalton.

He was born in Adams on August 14, 1923, the son of Joseph and Blanche (Zarek) Wojeick, and attended Adams schools. He served with the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1950.

Mr, Wojeick last woked at the former W.R. Grace Corp. in Adams for over 30 years, until retiring in 1988. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. He enjoyed fishing, camping and travelling.

His wife, the former Irene L. Atwood, whom he married on April 16, 1949, died on July 21, 2010.

He is survived by a son, Steven Wojeick of Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Susan Wojcik and her husband, Francis, of Dalton; two grandchildren, Rebecca  Mullady and her husband, Daniel, of Hancock, Mass., and Jennifer  Wojcik of Dalton; three great-grandchildren, Noah Wojcik and Kailani and Shaymus Mullady; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
