Shenna M. LaPlante, 37

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Shenna Marie LaPlante, 37, of North Adams, Mass., passed away February 2, 2020, at home.

Born in Pittsfield, Mass., on October 9, 1982, she is daughter of Diana Dufur and Michael LaPlante. Shenna attended Mount Greylock Regional High School. She went on to work as a bartender and waitress for more than 17 years. She worked at the Elbow Room and previously at Cumberland Farms.

She liked listening to music, camping and just being outdoors. She loved her cooking shows and the ID channel. She adored her children and her puppy Caesar.

She leaves behind a longtime partner of 18 years, Walter Berezowskyj, whom she loved very much; her three children, Nadya, Ayden and Sayde Berezowskyj; her grandfather, Robert Dufur of Lanesborough, Mass.; and her five sisters, Karilynn Dufur of Greenfield, Desiree Dufur of Pittsfield, Alicia Dickhaus of Cheshire, Jocelyn Curran of Limington, Maine, and Michaela LaPlante of North Adams, Mass.

She is predeased by her grandmother, Bonnie Dufur of Lanesborough; her grandmother and grandfather, Elizabeth and Edward LaPlante of Williamstown, Mass.; her aunt Leslie Antanick and her uncle Terrance LaPlante; and her two cousins, Hope Dufur and Megan Kucka.

She also leaves behind lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. She had a very large family who loves and will miss her dearly.

Funeral notice: A memorial service for Shenna LaPlante will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, Mass. A celebration of life will be held immediately after at the Bass Water Grill in Cheshire, Mass.
