Todd Wayne Walton, 48

HINSDALE, Mass. —  Todd Wayne Walton, 48, of Hinsdale, MA passed away from an industrial accident on September 4, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 21, 1974 to Wayne H. Walton and the late Joann R. Mawhinney Walton. Todd was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School and Bentley University. He married Melinda Peterson on May 4, 2002.

Todd was the co-owner of L.P. Adams, Co, Inc., Berkshire Trucking, Berkshire Crane and Logistics, as well as the former Hillbilly Enterprises Landscaping. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends either at work, at home, on the dance floor, or on Lake George racing outhouses. He loved driving trucks and could identify and name every truck in Berkshire County. Just assume you would lose the truck trivia game if he was not on your team. Yes, that's a thing. Everyone wanted to be on Todd's team, because everything Todd was involved with, became better. Whether it was fixing that loose door handle or retaining wall at a friend's house, having the vision to expand and make his companies the best they could be, or helping make food pantry deliveries more efficient.

To know Todd, even for a short time, meant you knew how loyal, rugged, hardworking, and fun he was. He was always the first one to start the barbeque, the boat, and the jokes. Todd was not afraid to live life to it's fullest. He operated multiple companies, was a roller coaster enthusiast, mountain biked down cliffs, four-wheeled off the tracks, water skied, snow boarded down Vermont's tallest trails, bungee jumped, skydived, played softball, was reigning Beer Die champ, traveled cross country twice...and he always found time to help anyone who needed him. Todd would drop anything to help a friend or family member, no questions asked. He was a man who wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty, carrying your weight on his back, delivering food to those in need, or even sharing some humor if he thought you needed it or if he just felt like it. ;)

Todd is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melinda Walton of Hinsdale and his beloved children, Quinn Walton and Zander Walton, both of Hinsdale. He is also survived by his father, Wayne Walton (Dorine Galliher); brother, Cory Walton (Erin Frissell) and sister, Shannon Walton all of Hinsdale; as well as his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes Church in Dalton celebrated by Father Chris Malatesta this Saturday, September 10th at 11:00am. A Celebration of Life will follow at L.P. Adams Co. in Dalton. All are welcome to attend.
