Barbara Magnifico,89

Barbara Therese (Pinsonneault) Magnifico 89, of North Adams died Saturday September 17, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born in North Adams on October 21 1932 a daughter of the late Napoleon and Dorothy (Hillard) Pinsonneault. She attended local schools including Houghton School and graduated from Drury High School.

Barbara was employed for over 55 years at the Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams where she was a sales account manager. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams and in her younger years enjoyed bowling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Her husband Joseph Paul Magnifico whom she married June 23, 1951 died August 8, 2020.

Survivors include her loving daughter Lynn Senecal of North Adams, grandson Stephen P. Senecal (Cheryl) of Enfield, CT., Ryan J. Senecal (Nicole) of Belchertown, MA. and great grandchildren, Lily, Hannah, Leo, Knox, Maisie and Trent.  Her daughter Ariana D. "Ann" Magnifico died in 2010.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Barbara Magnifico will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. are Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Jude Children's Hospital through the funeral home. Lynn, Ryan, Stephen, and family: My thoughts are with you, Barbara had a wonderful long life. She was very kind and loved you all so much. I'm sure her hubby Joe along with their daughter ANN were waiting in heaven for her, which should bring you comfort. Mary, Pat, Lynn, auntie Nata and myself miss our weekly brunches, Saturdays at Burger King sitting around chatting and laughing at just about everything.
