Maureen Scott,63

 

 

Maureen (Shand) Scott, 63 of North Adams, MA died at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield on Saturday, September 24, 2022 following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was born in North Adams on November 12, 1958, the daughter of the late Richard Harold Shand and Mary Ann (Oliveri) Shand. She attended Drury High School and in her earlier years was employed at J.J. Newberry's store on Main Street in North Adams. Maureen was a devoted homemaker and mother. She loved to take walks and being in nature. Maureen also loved to listen to music and was an avid fan of the Red Sox’s.

Maureen leaves behind her loving son, Michael N. Scott with whom she made her home. She also leaves her Brother Richard Shand (Kim) of Clarksburg, niece Allison Shand and nephew Christopher Shand. and her longtime companion James Delmolino with whom she made her home. She also leaves her former husband Michael C. Scott.

Cousin Rick and family I'm so very sorry for your loss! Unfortunately I haven't seen Maureen in many years but with the Fall Foliage parade coming this Sunday I have many fond memories of our families getting together at your parents to watch the parade and hang out when we were kids!
